A Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a digital record that provides comprehensive information about a product and its entire value chain. This includes everything from the origin of the product, materials used, environmental impact, and disposal recommendations. The DPP is provided by the manufacturer of the product. In this model it represents all publicly available information authorized by the manufacturer or its formal representatives. The DPP is something of the (very) near future. In this model we pretend it is already there.
